Four Maoist training camps have been overrun by the joint forces of West Bengal Police, Jharkhand Police and the CRPF.

Reviewing the security measures at a high level meeting at Raj Bhavan today, governor, NN Vohra, said there was a need for constant reviewing and strengthening of the security arrangements.

“Unlike many other countries, Russia does not have any military cooperation with Pakistan because we bear in mind the concerns of our Indian friends,” the Russian prime minister said.

So far, 1,497 people have tested positive with the infectious disease while two new cases have been reported from Vadodara and Ahmedabad.
